Have you ever smelled a certain candle fragrance that instantly evokes a cherished memory? That’s the magic of scented candles—they are more than just burning items, but rather carriers of memories and moods. At DUC VY Candle Factory, we craft premium candles with meticulous care from start to finish. From raw materials selection to the final products, every step focuses on creating high-quality fragrances that resonate with you. Read on to learn about our candle-making process and how our candles can brighten up your life.

Production Process

Mixing Ingredients

We mix candle wax and fragrances exactly as customers ask. This step is super important—it decides how the candle burns, what it smells like, and how good it is overall. We use fancy measuring tools to add just the right amount of each material.

Melting Wax & Pouring

We heat the wax to the perfect temperature so it melts completely. Then we pour the liquid wax into molds or containers and let it cool down and harden. We have to be really careful here to avoid bubbles or cracks.

Putting in Wicks & Cooling

Every candle needs a wick. For some candles, we drill a hole in the hardened wax first, then put the wick in. Next, we let the candles cool naturally or with cool air to make sure they keep their shape and have a smooth surface.

Ⅳ Finishing Touches & Testing

After cooling, we tidy up the candles—like sanding the bottom, dipping them in extra wax, or painting designs by hand to make them look nicer and more unique. Finally, we test how they burn to make sure they’re safe and meet quality standards. This is the last check before they leave the factory, and we never cut corners here.

Customization of Wax Types and Fragrances

Types of Wax

We use three main kinds of wax: paraffin wax (from oil), plant-based waxes (like soy, palm, or coconut wax, from plants), and beeswax (from honey—super expensive, with quality based on how much pure beeswax is in it). Each type burns differently and smells a bit unique, so we pick the right one for what the customer wants.

Candle Styles

We make all sorts of candles:

  • 1. Pillar candles: Rod-shaped, can be made in different sizes and designs.
  • 2. Jar candles: Poured into glass, ceramic, or metal containers.
  • 3. Injection-molded candles: Made with molds for special shapes.
  • 4. Tealight candles: Small, used for heating tea.
  • 5. LED candles: Have tiny lights inside to look like real burning candles.

Each style works best for different situations.

Scents & Burning

For scents, customers can either tell us what they want (like “lavender”) and we’ll make a few versions to choose from, or they can send us a sample scent and we’ll copy it. We also adjust the candles to burn for the right amount of time and have a nice, steady flame.

How to Use Our Candles

Our candles work in lots of ways—to make your home feel cozier, get rid of bad smells, or add a nice scent.

  • 1. Jar candles: The most popular—use them anywhere in your home.
  • 2. Pillar candles: Need a candle holder—great for dinner tables or religious events.
  • 3. Birthday candles: Come in fun colors, shapes, and numbers for parties.
  • 4. Injection-molded candles: Special shapes, perfect for holidays (like Christmas trees or Santa).
  • 5. Tealight candles: For heating tea; scented candles: Great for bedrooms or bathrooms.

Working With Customers: Making Sure You’re Happy

Asking for a Quote

We give customers a simple form to fill out with details: what wax they want, what scent standard they need, how heavy the candles should be, their size, how they want them to look, and packaging requirements. This helps us give an accurate price and start production smoothly. We stay in touch during the process to make sure everything is right.

Useful Tips

  • 1. Candles melt easily in hot weather, so we suggest using a refrigerated container to ship them between May and September.
  • 2. The amount of wax and fragrance affects the cost. If customers have a specific fragrance in mind, we’ll say if it’s included in the price; if we recommend a fragrance, we’ll note how much it costs per kilogram.
  • 3. Things like packaging and the containers for jar candles can affect minimum order quantities (MOQ)—we’ll let customers know about that too.
